How to create a free website for your mobile apps? Comparison of available tools

This post is intended for mobile app developers and marketers
freewebsite

Nowadays many people build and release mobile apps in android and ios to generate an additional stream of income other than their regular job. I will say building a mobile app is easy, marketing is the tough part! Most of them think that the app they are building will generate income automatically. It is completely wrong in the present scenario as the app store and play store is crowded with more than a million apps and thousands of apps are being launched every day.  So in order to make our apps stand out, we need to do some extra stuff. Otherwise, you won’t get any downloads.

Some of the important requirements to make your app stand out are the following.

Unique icon and well-designed screen shots
App Video
App Website / Landing Page
Social media pages for the app
Unique and well written description and keywords

Out of these, I am talking about App Website / Landing Page today. A dedicated website for an app is not a luxury, but a necessity.  An app with a website / landing page definitely looks serious for a customer.  Many people think that creating a website is too costly and it is not at all useful in app marketing, considering the efforts and money spent.  But this is 100% wrong. We don’t need to shell out $500 to develop a website. Do you believe you can set up an app website in $10/ year? Yes.. You read it right! You can create the website absolutely free and the $10 is for the domain name purchase. If you don’t need a custom domain, it is 100% Free!

How to create app website free?
There are many tools / services available to create landing pages for our apps. Here listed the major ones. I am listing it based on popularity (Alexa rank )

https://launchkit.io/websites/

http://appreviewdesk.com/ios-android-app-websites-landing-pages-free

http://www.applandr.com/

Launchkit :
Good features and high-level customization available.
Most of the good features are premium ($10/ month )
No app store data synchronization
Web site creation process is not as simple as other platforms
Well Built Platform with minimal bugs
Website Creation Based on itunes only

Eg : https://launchkit.io/websites/thiyY2eQaJM/

AppReviewDesk:
All features 100% Free (Up to 50 websites / account )
App store data synchronization every 2 days
Quickest  process to create website
Having good customization features
Well Built Platform with minimal bugs
Website Creation Based on itunes and play store

Applandr:
No Free websites now ($10/ month). Previously there was a free plan.
Quick Process to create website

Website Creation Based on itunes and play store

Eg: http://applandr.com/apps/ExamiaGeneralKnowledgeExam-g/

Which is better ?

Considering the overall features, Launchkit offers more features. But most of them are premium ($10/ month ). Applandr is definitely not worth $10/ month as AppReviewDesk offers more features than this and is 100% Free.

I would recommend proceeding with AppReviewDesk.com. The only limitation is we will be able to create only 50 websites / account in the free plan, which is enough for most of the developers.   Moreover, they are proposing some cool additional features soon.

Pricing Point

One app website / year cost the following amount for a customer

Launchkit (With custom domain + Advanced features ) : $130

Applandr (With custom domain ) : $130

Apppreviewdesk (With custom domain ) : $10

Three app websites / year cost the following amount for a customer

Launchkit (With custom domain + Advanced features ) : $390

Applandr (With custom domain ) : $150

Apppreviewdesk (With custom domain ) : $30

And the cheapest is definitely AppreviewDesk and is 100% free if you don’t need custom domain.
